37 hours per week to include occasional evening work
Local Government Scale (SCP 20 – 23) £25,295 – £26,999 per annum.

Wroughton Parish Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to this varied and interesting role. The applicant should be an organised, outgoing, flexible individual, able to deal brilliantly with members of the public.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience as a Project / Grants Officer or similar role, from conception to delivery and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with the local community and organisations.
The applicant should also be experienced in office administration, minute taking and the preparation of reports.
The post holder will work closely with the Clerk and Councillors to ensure all Wroughton Parish Council projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
They should be able to work as part of a small team, yet also be confident working on their own initiative.
Successfully initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor, control and manage projects/initiatives.
Identify, develop and write grant applications for Council projects/initiatives.
Work with the Parish Clerk to prepare reports and attend relevant meetings. Take minutes, carry out any actions arising from decisions and help deliver many ongoing projects for the Parish Council.
Support and assist all Parish Council Working Parties through to Committee / Council level.
Help to support and provide services such as youth work, new play areas, construction projects, Parish newsletters and annual events.
Develop and strengthen links between the Council and the community by working with partnering agencies and volunteer organisations.
The successful applicant should have excellent communication and organisational skills, show commitment, creativity and hold a high level to detail with the delivery of projects.
