If residents see road traffic incidents they would like to report please access police web site www.wiltshire.police.uk and use the “Report” tab.

If residents have filmed or captured a driving offence (which is NOT a road traffic collision) they can submit their video or photo to Wiltshire Police using OPERATION SNAP -a national digital portal which allows members of the public to submit any type of footage directly to the Police Force where an offence occurs. Footage can be uploaded from devices like mobile phones, dash Cam, CCTV, Ring doorbell, Gopro cameras…. or from any other device regardless of where it was filmed. It can be filmed from outside of a car as long as it relates to the case being submitted. OP SNAP and the National Dash Cam Safety Portal (NDSP) is a Police response to the increasing numbers of submissions of video and photographic evidence from members of the public in relation to witnessed driving offences. It must show footage of traffic offence allegations, not road traffic collisions (RTCs) and for each submission, an email is sent out acknowledging footage and informing there will only be future contact if required for court.
