Swindon Borough Council is leading a project and working closely with Wroughton & Wichelstowe Parish Council, to develop a new sports hub between Mid- and West-Wichel.

Councillor John Hewer, Chair of the Parish Council said: ‘Wroughton & Wichelstowe Parish Council is excited to be involved in this project. The Parish Council really wants (and needs) to know what sports facilities residents would like to use at this site. It’s your chance to influence the outcome, so we encourage everyone to please, have your say, by responding to this consultation. We have asked Swindon Borough Council to arrange a drop-in session in Wichelstowe so that the residents who live most locally will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about this fantastic project.’
