01 Jul Devizes Road Closure, Swindon
Wales & West Utilities will be undertaking a £120,000 project to upgrade gas pipes in Old Town over the coming months.
From Monday (30 June), an inbound closure from Croft Road to Devizes Road will be in place before Devizes Road fully closes to traffic on 21 July.
The utility company estimates that the work will finish by the end of September.
We have been working closely with businesses directly in the area to help mitigate any impacts, including waiving café pavement licence fees.
A diversion route will be in place and access for businesses and residents will be maintained.
