Drainage Improvement, Culvert Waterproofing and Resurfacing Works in Wroughton

The drainage improvement works will be taking place along the A4361 High Street, between the junction of Ely Court and Barrett Way / Priors Hill. The works will be commencing on Monday 4th July and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete. During this period there will be alternate lane closures along the High Street, in the vicinity of the works area, managed by way of temporary 2-way traffic signals (please refer to the attached plan).

The waterproofing and resurfacing works will be taking place on, and adjacent to, Sixties Culvert, which is located along the A4361 Devizes Road, close the junction with Barrett Way. The works will be commencing on Monday 18th July and will take approximately 5 weeks to complete. These works are needed to protect the structure of the culvert and highway to ensure their continued serviceability. During this period there will be alternate lane closures along Devizes Road, in the vicinity of the works area, managed by way of temporary 2-way traffic signals (please refer to the attached plan). Also, the contractor will be using an area of the Ellendune Car Park (close to the recycling containers) during the works period for their welfare and storage facilities.
