06 Aug Free Bus Travel For Children This August
From 1 to 31 August 2026, children can travel free on participating bus services across England, making it easier and cheaper for families to enjoy days out during the summer holidays.
children aged 5 – 11 must travel with a fare-paying adultchildren aged 11 – 15 can travel independentlychildren aged 14 – 15 will need to carry proof of age (digital copies accepted)Simply ask the driver for a free ticket when boarding and keep it for the duration of the journey.
