Today is International Women’s Day 
which is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality To celebrate this day, Wroughton Community Library have done a display showing plates created by some local ladies to show what being a woman means to them whether its their role in the community, their interests or their family
Some of the female staff who work in the library, the community centre and the WPC office took part in some radio interviews to comment on what International Women’s Day means to them. Listen in TODAY on 105.5 between 10am and midday
