New Jubilee StoryWalk Launched today!

Head down to Willow-Brook Gardens to see our fantastic StoryWalk® about ‘The Queen’s Day Out’ which is displayed on numbered plinths just in front of the Ellendune Community Centre.  The story, about Her Majesty visiting our lovely community, was written and illustrated by talented local author, Parish Councillor and Library Trustee Hannah Dosanjh.  You’ll find out that the Queen has been to a few local places of interest and had a great time. The StoryWalk® is the perfect free, family friendly activity for half term.  1st Wroughton Rainbows Lexi and Sofia were there to cut the ribbon and little brother Leo helped out too.  We were delighted to welcome the Rainbows on a recent visit to our lovely Library as part of their ‘Book Lover’ badge.  We hope you are all getting ready for our Jubilee Picnic in the Park this Saturday on the Weirfield from 12.30 – 4.30.  You’ll be able to meet the author  these as well as enjoy a children’s entertainer, live music, free facepainting, royal dress up booth and much more.  Dust off your red, white and blue clothes, pop on your tiara and we’ll see you soon.
