The road closure notice relates to Inveraray Road and changes following Swindon Borough Councils School Safety Environment Zone (SSEZ) year 4 program.
Changes to be implemented will see new parking restrictions being introduced around the junctions on and around the school entrances and where it is deemed a necessity to assist with promoting better parking behaviours and keeping these areas free of obstruction. This will allow clear visibility and the free flow of traffic. The proposed restrictions will be implemented as an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) for a temporary period of up to 18 months.
STR000810 Inverary Road, Wroughton
Inverary Road from the junction with Perry’s Lane up to Wroughton Junior School.
Traffic to be diverted via Perry’s Lane, Wharf Road, Kellsboro Avenue, Maskeleyne Road, Boness Road and Dunbar Road.
The Order comes into force on the 26 July 2024 for 18 months but it is anticipated the works will take place on the 29 July 2024.
