29 Nov Secret Garden Play Area Planting
Thanks to residents Jane and Joan who came along to help with the planting yesterday at the Secret Garden Play Area. We planted some more native species today – spindle and hazel. The ground is quite claggy so it was hard work but all the planting for today was completed within a couple of hours. We are close to having all trees, shrubs, bulbs and grass now planted. We’ll let you know when the wildflower plugs arrive in case any residents would like to come along with their trowels but this is likely to be early next year.
