🌺 Remembrance 2026 🌺

We're currently preparing for this year's Remembrance service.

Going through the pictures from last year, we found this lovely little snap of adorable moggie Casper (the kebab shop cat), taken at the war memorial on the morning of the service.

He was patiently waiting for it to start.

Here are some highlights to look forward to this year:
✅ Wroughton resident Major Matthew Steven Fountain, of REME Reserves, will be conducting the event for the first time

✅ Children from Wroughton Junior School will be reading poems at the war memorial at 10.35am

✅ Wroughton Silver Band will be providing the music throughout

✅ A record number of wreaths will be laid on the day

We're really looking forward to welcoming everybody to this year's service.

And maybe Casper make another appearance?
